Beetle Trap - Disposable
Simply fill the trap part way with a food grade oil (such as vegetable oil or mineral oil) and place between two frames in your hive. Take care not to fill more than half way full; otherwise, the beetles may be able to crawl back out. Once traps are filled with beetles, throw trap away and replace with a new one. We recommend using 2 traps per box during times of heavy infestation, or as a preventative measure. Beetle traps are a safe and effective way to keep beetle populations down in your hive.

The convenience of these disposable beetle traps is what makes them attractive. I've tried the reusable ones but who has time to clean those nasty sticky things?

Aside from my screen bottom board I find more beetles in these than any other trap I have tried.
