9-5/8" Deep In Hive Feeder with Cap and Ladders
This feeder holds up to 96 oz. of feed. The added cap and ladder system helps prevent bees from drowning, it prevents comb buildup in your feeder, and it adds strength by reducing the bowing and bending of the feeder. May take the place of 1-1/2 to 2 frames in some applications. Exact measurements are 2-1/4" wide by 8-7/8" deep.
Lappe's Bee Supply is not able to replace / refund bee feeders for leakage issues due to being improperly used.

I bought 15 of these feeders recently and after using some of them I am very pleased with them. They are well made and do not require rubber bands tohold them together at the top like my Mann Lake feeders. I have had no issues with bees drowning. In addition, they seem to be slightly narrower than other my others, and in some boxes I may only have to remove one frame instead of two. This also makes for ease of removal. Superb product! In the process of ordering more.

These feeders do a good job about giving bees the tools to eat and so far the loss of bees is pretty minimal. It does require removing a frame but when the bees get as much syrup as they need they'll let you know and it's easy peasy to remove.

lose 500 bees in a matter of days and you will appreciate how much I love this feeder. The 2 side wells have tiny perforations on all 4 sides so the bee, no matter how heavily loaded with syrup can make their way up the sides. The other feeder I had did not have that but had ridges (not good enough). This solved my problem. Came quickly. The cap keeps the bees from just wiley niley falling in which is helpful to keep them from drowning as well.

The photo showed chimney-type feeders. I was happy to see they shipped the slanted ladder types that will be easier for beea to es ape drowning, and will be easier for me to Crack the hive for a quicker refill.
