Queen Honey Bees For Sale - Wednesday Shipping By UPS Next Day

Please note: When starting a new bee hive, you need to purchase a package of bees with a queen, not just a queen. Without the 2 or 3 pounds of bees to take care of her, the queen will not be able to survive and will die. These mated queens are for queening an existing hive or splits in the spring time.

Please place a separate order for all additional equipment; otherwise, UPS Next Day shipping will be charged on the entire order.

Lappe's Bee Supply offers some of the best mated queen bees for sale online! Queens will be shipped from April through the end of August. Queens will arrive in 3 hole queen cages with attendants, and there will be a candy plug already in one end filled with queen candy. We recommend leaving this plug in when placing your new queen into the hive and not removing the second cork in the side of the cage without candy. Lappe's Bee Supply is not responsible for anything that happens because the bee keeper makes the choice to remove the candy plug or the queen candy from the queen cage. It is always better to allow her to stay in the queen cage with the candy plug intact, to give the worker bees time to get familiar with her pheromone and get her out of the cage themselves.

Queen honey bees from Lappe's Bee Supply are guaranteed to be alive upon arrival (certain conditions apply). Queen replacement for queens DOA is always at the discretion of LBS and needs to be reported right upon arrival; please contact us with the details. If not reported at the time of arrival (actual time delivered by UPS) we are unable to replace or refund any queen bees. We adhere to time of arrival as noted on UPS tracking numbers. Acceptable methods of contacting us include phone and email.

Queens cannot survive for long outside of honeybee hives! Your queen needs to be inside of the beehive where the worker bees can feed her and give her water and food. Please plan on putting your queen into your hive immediately after UPS delivers her. Please do not leave queen bees sitting on the counter overnight!

We are able to ship queen honey bees through UPS Next Day to only the lower 48 United States; we can not ship queens to Hawaii, and we do not do International or Canada shipments. Alaska shipments need to be purchased through our other queen pages where the US Postal Service can be selected for the shipping method.

    I run around 60 to 100 hives and try to every year bring new genetics into my operation. Ive purchased around 15 queens this year and the service and quality of queens i received from lappes was by far the best ive experienced this year. I purchased 3 carniolian queens this year and i regret not getting more of my queens from lappes. First off i really appreciate the emails letting me know that they've shipped, it's easier to plan ahead. Second the queen cages were glued securely to the box, i cant tell you how many times I've recived queens from other suppliers bouncing around in a box. It was properly labled and ventilated so the could get fresh air. I was also impressed with the amount of attendant bees with the queens. All 3 are laying great patterns and healthy. Im very happy with this order. I received a great product that was exact to what was advertised and in a timely manner for a good price. I will end up coming here first next time. This year alone I've received 2 Virgin queens and 1drone layer from other suppliers. Lappes really has impressed me. Im hoping maybe in the future Caucasian queens or new world carniolians will be offered as well but im more then happy with the carni stock you have now, thank you!

    Went online late Tuesday evening looking to get queen within a couple days. Placed the order and she shipped the next day arriving at my place on Thursday morning. She was well received by the hive and is off to work. Great, fast service.
