J Hook Hive Tool - Orange
This is one of the more popular hive tools due to its J Hook end, which enables you to pry frames out of the supers easier. The other end has a flat beveled edge for scraping. It also includes a nail puller.

I use J hook tools to remove frames from the hive boxes. I believe I mash fewer bees using them.

I find this tool better than the regular "prybar" type when it comes to pulling frames.

I had a red-handled one that I lost, purchased this one to replace it as the color is brighter. I love this tool for breaking boxes apart and frames that have been severely propalized.
