Hive Top Feeder With Painted Super
Top feeder features a galvanized steel safety screen to prevent the bees from drowning, and is constructed of a single piece of heavy duty plastic that provides a no leak reservoir to last through years of use. Now you can easily fill the feeder without opening the hive! 10 Frame Super measures 20" long x 16 - 1/4" wide x 4 - 1/2" high. 8 Frame Super measures 20" long x 13 - 3/4" wide x 4 - 1/2" high.
- Available in 8 frame and 10 frame sizes
- 8 frame feeders will hold up to 3.2 gallons, and 10 frame feeders will hold up to 4 gallons
- Improved design to help keep the bees under the screen and prevent them from drowning - bees enter the feeder through openings under the screen
- Comes with a painted super - just place on your hive, fill and you're done!
Lappe's Bee Supply is not able to replace / refund bee feeders for leakage issues due to being improperly used. Feeder inserts may or may not be stapled into the super. Screens need to be inspected before first use to see if screens need to be pushed down into the corners of the feeder to prevent issues.

I have several of the plastic top feeders and used them last year with no problems, This year I have lost a lot of bees from drowning. I talked to a friend that used this type of top feeder without problems. I ordered 4 of them for my hives and not any problems at all with drowning bees. They are well made, Lappe always ships fast, they only problem I have is I should have ordered a couple of more when they were on sale. LOL I will be purchasing more as my apiary grows or as needed. Great product, well designed, and well made.

Great product that serves two purposes since the plastic feeder tray is not permanently attached to the wooden box. 1. If you want to feed bees, leave the plastic feeder tray in the box. 2. If you need a shim, remove the feeder tray and use the box. I’ve used these as a shim during some of my treatments. They work great. Again, Lappe’s came through and made me a happy repeat customer.

I wish I would have bought this sooner! Great quality, works very well. No more constantly filling jars for the front feeder nor stressing about robbers! Highly recommend.

These top hive feeders are better quality than I thought they would be. The plastic liner is very sturdy and the boxes very well made

If i get to water the hive directly I figure itll cut down on robbing if im using the door reducer
