Small spots of yellow may still be in the white beeswax from the purification process. Blocks can vary in weight by -.10 to +.10. Wax has been hydrated with water during the purification process to further improve stability and to reduce the chance of cracking during the candle making process; small traces of water may be found after remelting, make sure to let the wax sit for awhile before pouring so this minute amount of water can settle to the bottom, and take care when pouring the wax into your molds so the water on the bottom of the pot doesn't get into your mold. Small amounts of paraffin can be found in the beeswax, due to the fact that it is already on the bee hive foundations before being rendered. Different batches of wax can have different aromas to them, depending on what part of the bee hive that they came from. This is all normal and is not considered an issue; we will not replace or refund beeswax blocks.
