Blocks can vary in weight by -.10 to +.10. Wax has been hydrated with water during the purification process to further improve stability and to reduce the chance of cracking during the candle making process; small traces of water may be found after remelting, make sure to let the wax sit for awhile before pouring so this minute amount of water can settle to the bottom, and take care when pouring the wax into your molds so the water on the bottom of the pot doesn't get into your mold. Small amounts of paraffin can be found in the beeswax, due to the fact that it is already on the bee hive foundations before being rendered. Different batches of wax can have different aromas to them, depending on what part of the bee hive that they came from. This is all normal and is not considered an issue; we will not replace or refund beeswax.

I have used a lot of different waxes recently in crafting candles and skincare products that I purchased from large online retailers claiming their wax was "pure, organic, 100 percent" beeswax, only to find out during the crafting process it wasn't what it claimed to be. I searched to find a company such as LAPPE'S with the understanding that bees are their business therefore their products should be true, unadulterated and perform as beeswax should when crafting. When my order arrived, the first thing I noticed was the heavenly smell that was fresh, slightly floral and sweet like honey. There was no chemical odor and no smell of petroleum products like the other waxes I had used. The wax bricks were neatly packaged, all in perfect condition with none of the bars broken. They melted very smoothly and cleanly with no clumping, like the other waxes I had used. The LAPPE'S beeswax took color from color chips much better than other beeswax I had used, it also took fragrance oil well without having an off- chemical scent. It didn't alter the scent of my fragrance oil, but instead enhanced it. Excellent product at a good price that is of excellent quality. The candles I made from LAPPE'S wax are the best ones I've made to date. Very, very pleased with their products. I highly recommend

I like the size of the bars for the melter to apply to the roll this wax onto foundation. The girls in the hives seem to love it and have been very productive this year in drawing out the foundation with this wax on it.

Was a little worried at ordering wax with high temperatures, but it was very well packaged and arrived quickly. Was out and needed some extra for recoating new foundations for supers that bees weren’t taking to. Thank you!

Used this wax all season bees love it so much ya gotta hide it from them if on a waxed frame not in a hive. They build it out fast and wax is overly aromatic which drives the bees crazy. It's clean but not like virgin white wax that has very little smell and bees don't take interest in untill they are forced to use. This product has been great for us here in oregon We are fishing charter boat guides oregon and washington for salmon trophy walleye and sturgeon on the Columbia River we also keep few hundred Colonies of bees that we overwinter at home and 800 more that are on the road pollinating. Lappes bees supply is fast and great quality products I find myself ordering products all the time. Have fun and good luck.
