Product Overview

1 Pound Yellow Beeswax Pellets

Where can you buy beeswax? Lappe's Honey Bee Supply and Honey Farm Farms Company LLC is your online supplier for 1 pound bags of yellow beeswax pellets for sale! Buy these beeswax pearls for making beeswax candles, wood polish, lip balm, skin lotion, natural soaps, and hundreds of other uses! These pellets have been filtered to be clean and free of debris, and beeswax chips are cosmetic grade.  No chemicals have been used during the cleaning process! Small amounts of paraffin can be found in the beeswax, due to the fact that it is already on the bee hive foundations before being rendered. Very easy to use & will quickly melt in this pellet form, making them great to use for cosmetics, candles, and all other crafts that use beeswax. Product of USA!

Please note, these pellet drops can range in color from bright yellow to a very light yellow color, depending on how clean and white our cappings are to start out with.

Please note: certain products, such as beeswax and mold release, are more easily damaged while transporting during both hot and cold temperature extremes. Please understand that these products will ship at your own risk for damage. Higher temperatures during shipping can cause the beeswax pellets to stick together. This is not actually a problem and should not be looked at as a defect - simply place the pellets someplace cold for a few hours, like in a freezer, then the pellets will break easily apart.

This item qualifies for free shipping!

❃What can you use our high quality beeswax pellets for? Why, there are 100s of uses for them! Just to name a few - candle making; soap; lip balms; cosmetics; woodworking; freeing up stuck wooden drawers; sewing needle aid; furniture polish; sealing canning jars; make natural food wraps; water proofer; sooth dry, cracked heels; homemade dog paw balm; hair care & beard balms; waxing snow skis; making traditional Christmas ornaments; wax crayons; candy making; the list goes on and on and on!!

❃What does it take for bees to make beeswax? Quite a bit, actually! Wax is produced only by the female worker bees. They have special glands on the underside of their abdomens that secrete the wax. Bees have to consume honey in order for their bodies to convert the sugar into wax. Once secreted by the glands, the bees chew on the wax to make it soft and pliable. So, what do they produce this wax for? The bees form the wax into hexagon (6-sided) shaped cylinders. Depending on the location in the bee hive where these cylinders are, they are used to either raise their brood / hold stores of honey and pollen to feed to their brood, or they are used to hold excess stores of honey for later consumption. This extra honey is what we, as beekeepers, take to extract for our own use and for retail, and it is the wax cappings (coverings) of this honey that we use to produce all of our beeswax blocks and pellets.
