AntCant Ant Barrier Coating
AntCant Ant Barrier Coating comes in a 3.5 oz. spray bottle. AntCant is an easy to use non-toxic coating that produces a surface that ants and other insects can't get a grip on. When applied to an inclined surface the ants slip off the surface and can't cross. Spray coating on to uniformly wet the surface. **The solvent evaporates quickly, so be careful not to over apply the coating - this will result in cracking and flaking, which can minimize the effectiveness of the product.**
A minimum of a 1" wide barrier should be applied to protect your beehive. This coating is most effective on smooth surfaces, such as plastic, tile, glass, saran wrap and stainless steel; if the surface to be applied to is not already smooth, use the included aluminum tape before applying AntCant. To be most effective, the surface should be at a greater than 30 degree angle.
One application of AntCant should last for many months, as long as it is not subjected to abrasion or exposed to detergents or oils. It will not wash off when exposed to rain or water. The dried coating is a translucent white color that can be visible on dark surfaces, but is almost non-detectable on lighter surfaces.
