Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. Honey
  • 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. Water
  • 1 c. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 c. All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp. Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Dried Oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 lb. Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • 2 large eggs, beaten

Instructions

In a medium saucepan over medium high heat, combine the honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. In a small bowl, combine the cornstarch and the water. Stir cornstarch mixture into the saucepan and heat until thickened, about 1-2 minutes; set aside and keep warm.

Cut chicken breast into 1/2” pieces. In a large bowl, combine the flour, thyme, oregano, paprika and cayenne pepper. Season chicken chunks with salt and pepper. Working one at a time, dredge chicken pieces in flour mixture, dip into eggs, then dredge in flour mixture again, pressing to coat. Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Working in batches, add chicken to the skillet and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer to a paper towel lined plate. Continue until all chicken is cooked. Serve immediately with honey garlic sauce.
