  • 3 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes, optional
  • 1/2 tsp. Spanish smoked paprika
  • 1 lb. cauliflower florets, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 Tbs. water
  • 3 Tbs. honey
  • 1/2 orange, juiced
  • salt and pepper to taste


Heat a 12" saute pan with olive oil; add salt, red pepper flakes if desired and Spanish paprika. Lay cauliflower in 1 layer on the bottom of the pan. Cook over medium high heat to char cauliflower, approximately 3 minutes. Flip each piece and repeat for 3 more minutes. Add water, honey and orange juice and stir to coat. Cover for 1 minute. Remove cover and finish cooking over high heat to reduce liquid, about 2 - 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
